This group of Taiwanese drummers participated in the 2012 Carnival of Cultures in Berlin. The thirty kids, all of them students of the Jianshan primary school, belong to the Bunun aboriginal people of Taiwan. There performance of traditional Bunun dances and songs were an award-winning highlight of the parade.  

Many of them are orphans. They lost their parents in a Typhoon that hit Taiwan shortly before.
